We Celebrate Our 90,000th Construction Project with a double basement.

We have reached a remarkable milestone in our 46-year company history: the completion of our 90,000th construction project. The landmark achievement took place in Hochheim, near Frankfurt, and came in the form of a fitting double: two AquaSafe® basements with external insulation, built simultaneously on neighbouring plots.

For our installation teams, it was a tightly scheduled operation. Within just two days, our professionals assembled both basements, structures that were not only technically demanding but also architecturally distinctive. One of the two basements featured a cantilevered ceiling slab, a design solution that accommodates thicker external insulation while still safely transferring the building’s structural loads down into the basement walls.

Our Managing Director, Michael Gruben, personally visited the site to mark the occasion, presenting a gift basket to the building family to celebrate the milestone moment.

One of the two basements, measuring 96 square metres, was designed by its owners as a versatile extension of their living space. “We planned a variety of different rooms in the lower level,” explained the homeowner. “Alongside a utility room and storage areas, we’re particularly looking forward to our own fitness room, a spa area with a sauna, and hopefully a cosy lounge with a climate-controlled wine room that we can really enjoy.”

The homeowners were introduced to us through a recommendation from their house builder, a common route that reflects our long-standing partnerships with major residential house builders across Germany and the rest of Europe. The homeowner described the collaboration as entirely positive throughout.
